Eskom approval is based on stringent test standards issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) who prepares and publishes International Standards for all Electrical, Electronic and Related Technologies.
The SABS mirrors the IEC Standards in most cases and therefore having Eskom approved products, such as our 5W LED Downlight or 9W LED Downlight, assures a high level of safety and quality.
